Jagdish Store (JS) is a renowned name in the furnishings and home decor industry for more than 50 years now. The brand is regarded as the most trusted and finest source of premium home furnishing. With an aim to meet the rising demand of a skilled workforce in the country's design industry, Jagdish Store set up a dedicated design institute - JS Institute of Design - that would ultimately help fill the gap between the fundamental principles of design practice and the key industry know-how.

JS Institute of Design strives to bridge the gap by supplementing the core design teaching with a six-month duration internship that would lead to enhancing the students' domain knowledge. Interestingly, JS Institute of Design is also backed up and mentored by the industry stalwarts that further enables students to learn from the experts and leaders of the industry, ultimately helping them contribute to all the phases of a project from the development of the concept to managing the site. 

JS Institute of Design was founded by Dr. Pramath Raj Sinha and Jagdish Khandelwal in the year 2019 to nurture leaders in the field of design for the 21st century.
